Autodidact simply means a self taught person, I would like to think that I do taught myself. Sometimes I autodidact from internet sometimes I just learn from my personal experiences and sometimes I learn from observing other people.
I actually learn a lot from movies and dramas although I understand that most of them are just created scenes and life is so different from a movie, but I also do believe in the saying that goes something like this :
Miracles happen with those who believe in it.
In 2015, I have learned the biggest skill anybody can learn and I learned it from my Dad which is very simple and common actually and it is called Research skill.
If I don`t understand something or I want to achieve anything I go to google type: How to blah blah blah.
The catch is I knew it before as well and most of my high school friend knew it as well but what makes a good research is understanding the web.
I don`t know if it`s common or not but I am always learning from everything and improving myself. I call this skill being MindFull and active, I mean what can you learn driving on a highway right? You can learn how to drive nicely or if you see a live accident you can learn how not to get into an accident.
Although life always gives me good opportunity to meet very experienced Entrepreneurs and whom I can go for advice but I don`t. I like to explore on my own and actually, it is very fun.
As crucial as it is to have a mentor to help you but sometimes you should go explore for yourself. Of course, it will take you a long time but it will be worth it. Having a mentor and going to him on everything is something like someone telling you the movie scenes that you always wanted to watch on your own, right?
Wrapping up my thought for today, it`s simple just go youtube or google and read stuff then go experience stuff. This is how I learn. As long as where is it taking me is concerned I think I am improving slowly but yeah I am.
Please do share in the comments on how you Autodidact, maybe I can learn something from you 😉
